Returns

As much as we want you to love what you buy from us, we accept that sometimes goods are just not what you expect.

If you are not 100% satisfied with the items you have ordered, you can return an item to us within 14 days of placement of order, unused, with the goods undamaged and in their original packaging.

You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.  Sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges for any reason. 

We will be happy to offer a store credit for the purchase price or exchange the goods for another item.  The goods MUST be received by Coby Collection before the 14 day period expires to receive a store credit.

Shipping costs will not be refunded in this instance.

In the event of an exchange, items are subject to product availability and returns policy.

Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 3-5 working days of us receiving the return. 

We do not refund your freight costs. If your order qualified for free freight we will deduct the freight amount you would have paid from your refund amount.

We cannot accept any goods that have been used, have their label or original packaging removed, altered or damaged and we can only accept items returned if they are within their original product packaging and are in a resaleable condition as determined by Coby Collection. 

We cannot accept responsibility for returns that are sent by non-traceable postage methods and are not received by us. Understandably, without the items we cannot issue an exchange or refund.

Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received in accordance with the returns policy. Please be aware that you will incur an additional freight charge for the delivery of the replacement item (unless the item was faulty, damaged, or sent to you in error).

We strongly recommend when returning items to use a tracked post or courier.  Coby Collection will not be held responsible for returned items not received.

After 14 days, the item is yours to keep and enjoy.

Care Instructions Advice

LEATHER

Leather is made from natural materials and has proven to be durable and long lasting. 
With the right care and love your leather will last a lifetime.

  • Use a good quality leather protection spray on your goods
  • Keep your leather away from heat and direct sunlight
  • Keep your leather away from water, it will damage the material 
  • When not in use, store in its calico bag in a dry place to avoid mould
  • Do not overfill your bag with heavy or sharp items, to protect the seams, catches and zips 
  • Clean with a soft cloth on a regular basis
  • Use a quality leather cleaner on a soft rag to remove any dirt or stains
  • Gently remove all spills immediately, with a damp cloth 
  • Do not use soaps or cleansers on the leather the chemicals will remove the natural oil and damage the material 
  • For lighter colours such as white and taupe, please be mindful of denim and other colours that will rub onto the material 

Repairs

If you have a fault, we must first assess the fault, to determine whether it should be repaired, replaced or refunded. This process is valid for free for the first 3 months from the purchase date. 

We will view the damage in person or by photos, we reserve the right to always repair the item first before any refund is given.

If we can not repair the item and believe the manufacturer is liable for the fault we will replace the product or one of a similar style.

If the item is unable to be repaired or replaced, we will offer a refund.

Due to our manufactures being off shore a repair can take up to 4-6 weeks.

We do our very best to ensure that all our products reach our customers in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that damage in transit occurs, please contact us at coby@cobycollection.nz and we’ll get it sorted for you straight away.

Coby Collection reserve the right to refuse an order due to technical problems occurring in pricing, stock holding or any other technical issue. The customer will have the choice to pay the balance owing to receive the item(s) or to cancel the order.
